I Gained a Gallery in the Wild - Eps 49 Shoes (1)

Because of the commotion caused by the leech, I quickly posted on the gallery.

I asked what I should do if bitten by a leech. That I accidentally grabbed and tore it off while it was stuck to the back of my neck.

Then, some very kind adventurer brothers told me what to do.

ㄴ No, fuck. Why the hell would you tear a leech off like that? You crazy to get infected or something?

ㄴ WildGrills) I didn’t know anything tho…

ㄴ Enough of that, if you have a potion, apply it to the bitten area. You might have been infected with parasites, so take some deworming medicine too.

There was a mountain of work to do. I threw off my somewhat dried clothes.

Laundry could wait. First I had to wash my dirty body.

There could still be a leech hiding somewhere I couldn’t see, so I made sure to check carefully.

I turned on the hose and washed every part of my body clean. Soap is must.

Through the advice of gallery users, specifically the adventurers, I used fragrance-free soap.

After a quick wash, I removed as much moisture as possible with a towel.

Then I approached the campfire I had made earlier and thoroughly dried my body.

‘First, let's buy some shoes to use temporarily.’

My sneakers got soaked, so I need some shoes for temporary use.

I went into the auction house and bought a pair of suitable leather shoes.

I didn't consider the shoe size. I'm just going to use them as a substitute for slippers anyway, so it's fine as long as they roughly fit.

‘Leave the laundry here, and since my body’s dry now, I should change into other clothes.’

I still had plenty of the uniforms ChaengguPrincess gave me. Though the pants were shorts.

Long pants are essential for exploring, so I plan to wash and dry them today.

I also have enough charcoal needed for laundry. The adventurer brothers said to definitely collect it.

Grilling the crabs. I put the crabs from the backpack into the iron tub.

I added water to the iron tub to maintain their freshness as much as possible.

Same goes for fish, this iron tub was proving seriously useful.

Now, all that’s left is to ask the gallery how to prep them.

They say you can roughly remove the mouth part (?), but I don't really understand what that means.

ㄴ Crab preparation is surprisingly easy. You see the part where the mouth slightly opens? You can drain blood and water by twisting that with a knife.

ㄴ If you're grilling instead of steaming, don't put it back in water and grill it as is.

ㄴ The body part doesn't cook all the way through easily, so don't worry and just grill it.

ㄴ It's best to drain as much moisture as possible. Otherwise, you might get a steaming effect instead of grilling.

So I have to twist the mouth first. I nodded and took out my dagger.

Then I took out one crab from the iron tub and looked it over.

Just as the gallery described, its mouth has an opening structure on both sides.

The crab's mouth opened forcibly with a refreshing sound.

The shoes I wanted had some pretty demanding requirements.

Title explained it all. I'm looking for shoes suitable for exploration. However, the conditions are strict.

1. (Most important) Must be sturdy. It's a big problem if my feet get injured, so this is the most important.

2. Waterproofing. There will be plenty of situations where shoes get wet.

3. Ventilation and comfortability. Actually, comfortability is more important than ventilation. I might go to high altitudes.

4. Slip-resistant. I almost died from slipping while getting up.

5. Preferably leather shoes. Same as number 3.

If you can make shoes that roughly meet the above conditions, I'll give you a Mature Mandrake.
